These systems broke off during the War of Humanity, but didn't join the Alliance. Some formed small confederacies of two or three systems, while others remained completely independent. Most of these systems are technological backwaters, although a few have plentiful natural resources that are rarely found elsewhere, allowing them to have flourishing economies. These systems have very little in the way of military or interstellar trade ships, mostly being self-contained.

maybe there could be one of these planets that broke away because the empires wasn't willing to accept such technologies... like maybe they created better things... the most advance tech... but it came at a price that the empire wouldn't condone... you would have to become a cyborg or something to use them,... neural implants... but the empire opposed the idea because of moral issues and conflicting religious beliefs. and if your character became one of these cyborgs he would be treated as a heretic in the empire and alliance and prices would be higher for him there and people would offer less important missions and would dislike you.

how about both...? I've finished the Dreeb'Gath map and the Harrimann map(though I still need to upload everything... work is crazy & no time!).
I need ideas for independant systems. So if anyone has any, toss 'em here. I've also made room for populated systems that haven't achieved interstellar travel yet.... so any specific ideas there would be good too.

well my no time is complicated... i work in a parking booth, so I don't have internet there, but I DO have an ancient laptop that I can work on plugins with... but it's too old for osX so I just (almost) blindly make .evh files & hope it flies... and usually i only make a few mistakes. the time OUTSIDE the booth doesn't exist.

Woo!!!!! I got my mission call!!!!! I'm going to be serving an LDS mission in Sapporo, Japan!! So i guess that means my time here is limited... but I leave for the MTC 6 Dec, so i guess i've got a little time. And when I get back in two years, i expect a fully fledged game with network playability, super-professional effects & a wicked awesome plotline. Wink

Anywho, I've finally worked out the bugs with Harrimann and dreeb'gath... ummm... here it is.

hey, I've still got about three months... so I can probably make some more ships, finish the empty/independant systems... especially now that fall rush is almost over & I'm not selling parking permits all day, I might actually get stuff done besides creating empty systems.

dang it! I had the universe all expanded even farther & I was almost ready to update & then the power cable to my old laptop had an accident... Crying or Very sad things will be updated someday when I get everything fixed.

Anywho, I'm still in need of ideas for independant systems (ideas, anyone?)... I've left space on my map for about 10 human ones and then about 8 or 9 for alien species that haven't yet developed interstellar travel or that don't colonize.

BTW, if anyone dislikes or wishes to change planet descriptions, names, etc. that I've thrown in the game, feel free to let me know. I'm not the greatest at naming things and the planet descriptions will probably affect missions and plotlines, so if something I've done messes with anyone's ideas, they're completly changeable.

okay. I fixed the laptop power cable, uploaded the more complete universe, and my website isn't quite as ugly as it used to be....
