3D Models

Post by EVWeb »

I have some 3D models of ships I made, but I'm having problems exporting them into a obj file that Event Horizon will accept. Does anybody here know how to change the export settings for Bryce 6? If not, does anybody know of a program that can convert Bryce 6 files besides Bryce 6?

Thanks.

I don't know much about Bryce, but if you can export to Nendo (.ndo) or 3D Studio (.3ds) Wings 3D should be able to import that and then export to .obj.

I never had much trouble exporting from blender to bryce, but sadly, I no longer have a version of bryce (doesn't work on 10.5)

can you specify your problem in more detail?

EDIT: sorry, what I meant, is it should be easy to export form bryce back to blender again. forgot to mention it :)
when has a developer ever needed any other reason than "it looks bloody awesome?"

Basically, the models export fine for other programs, but the game crashes on reading them, and the textures are terrible.

Can you send me an example model, and I'll see what I can do with it?
