Umm, there have been several new posts in the past few days... I think. Anyway, since I checked. But I'm sort of on vacation until the end of the week, so I'm not doing much here until then.

Uhh... I like school (waits to get bashed by the mob)... Why don't you? School is where you meet people, you know. (I am a "popular nerd" a contradiction, I know) If there was no school, I wouldn't have met half the friends I have, hell, I wouldn't even have a friend, since theres not a single person under 18 year old in my neighbourhood that looks around my age to be a good friend. The only problem with school is that I can't seem to get that DARNED first place in mathematics, that girl is always -->1<-- stupid mark infront of me... ARRGHHH The good thing though, is that she likes me... And the even better news: She is changing school. Her birthday is coming up, should i get her birthday present for good bye?
I rather go to school than to stay at home for two months in summer holidays (actually one and a half, but feels like 2), because to get out of the house I need to pay bus fare... (you don't during school days)
Anyways, I am going to Hong Kong in December, so I wont have to stay home!! |

Um, I don't think Capn Hector has gone anywhere... at least not forever. 
And, yeah, I enjoy many aspects of school, but sometimes it's just too much work.

At least I have fun classes  I'm in a couple of animation classes and a web programming class. It's great, we started off with real basic javascript (which I over-did (in a good way) with arrays and loops to preload etc.), and now we're jumping into basic SQL and ColdFusion. The rest will be getting into intermediate stuff. The fun thing is, since I've been messing around with JS for several years, all of this is easy-cheesy, and they all think I'm a genius .
We're using Telnet to access our servers. They have Red Hat, so I use my linux batch commands work my way around doing things they way they say you should (i.e. the hard way). I hate labor ... I'm lazy. I think only one other guy in my class actually knows what linux is, but he gave up on it because his hardware wouldn't work properly with it.
SQL is super-simple, but you can do some AWESOME stuff with it. I'm going to have to learn PHP on my own, though, because the teacher prefers CF. Oh well.

That does sound like fun!
I used to do some JS back in the day, but haven't really done much since they started getting into the whole DOM thing. That's confusing stuff. Pretty slick, though.
