Right now explosions are just like a ball of gas (a mini sun). To me it seems boring, I was thinking that explosions should look like this, but can it be implemented?

Oh definately. . . but it would make it so that older machines couldn't run it like Paul wants. Maybe there could be user-preferences to set graphics levels so that we could implement super-cool stuff like we want, but enable it to play on older machines.

That's a good idea. I'm actually working on adding some enhanced explosions (not quite that much, though Very Happy).

Also, there would be a difference between an explosion on a planet as compared to an explosion in space, as there is different gravity in space (as it would pull from all the dicetions the planets and such are in), which would (technically) affect the direction and velocity of an explosion.

Hoorah for the ramblings of a student!

=_=.... I was saying that it would be nice to use graphic effects like those in the screenshot...

But otherwise, I agree.

Yea, that'd be pretty mean (for me, mean = awesome (most of the time)).
