I downloaded Event Horizon, and it worked fine, until all of the sudden, the weapons fired stayed in place. They just stayed at the gun exit point, and so I couldn't shoot anyone. Has this happened to anyone else? |

Someone else mentioned this, also. I'm guessing maybe the weapon thread is freezing.
Are there any particular circumstances under which this occurs, or just random?
Also, what is your system version?
Thanks. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

I'm using Mac OS 10.3.9
It seems to stop after a certain period of time.
And speaking of threads why are you using one for ship movement and one for weapon movement?
Being somewhat of a programmer, I'm kinda wondering what language are you using to code this? |

I just stuck everything that's independent into its own thread, pretty much. No real rhyme or reason.
And I'm doing this in Objective-C, which is far easier to work with than C++, and runs at native speed. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

I experienced the same problem while playing on my mac. the problem was solved by restarting the game...but then again that isn't really solving anything is it? |
