I add {{Files}} to the page content, and when I press Store, all it does is make a grey headerbox with " Attachment Size Date Added". Maybe I'm doing something wrong. _________________ -HHT

Well, when I go to that page, this is what I see:
You'd want to click on the Choose File button. Note that this only appears after you commit the edits to the page. _________________ Cap'n Hector |

OK, I got it fixed…Turns out that by default only admins can upload files, so I switched it so that anyone can.
It should work now. _________________ Cap'n Hector |

Same thing here... I can add a file using "Browse" (i.e., it's file path will show up in the text box), but it doesn't appear to actually get uploaded at any point. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

OK, sorry about that not working…
I'm not sure what's up with it, but I found a better solution:
http://eventhorizon.caphector.com/upload.php
Just use that instead
Have fun! _________________ Cap'n Hector |

I can't upload a .tar.gz file (application/xgzip) not allowed error, but I don't know if that's your end or mine... the computers at Boeing have some security restrictions in place. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

I added .gz as an allowed file type…
Currently the list is:
Zip
Jpg
Png
Gif
Sit
Gz
Tar
Dmg
If there's other file types I should add, tell me. _________________ Cap'n Hector |

That's a pretty nice ship... certainly far better than my firsrt attempts, such as the Shuttle . However, for reasons unknown to me, the texture didn't show up in Blender or Wings3D. Also, for it to work in EH, the texture needs to be a square, 2^N pixels on a side (e.g., 256x256, 512x512, etc.). _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

So I could have been making larger textures all this time? *Dies* |

heh, yep
Of course, your texture are so good, I'm not sure what you'd do with the extra room, anyway! _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

So... how do you guys model 3D ships and put them in game?
Mike: really like your ships. |

Well, you can use blender, most of the time. Paul made a ship model maker thingy, and although useful, its slightly impractical (please don't kill me). Blender is freeware. You have to export the ship models as .obj files. The original ship files were .ehv files, but w/e
Blender is a bit hard to use at first, but it doesn't skimp on quality. You'll almost definately have to use some tutorials. _________________ -HHT
