Here it is: EH 0.5.10. Merry Christmas! (I hope it works  )
Changes include:
* Several nefarious crash-causing bugs removed
* Throttle added, speed control changed
* Gorgeous  landing cinematics included (they still need sound, though)

I tried to download version 0.5.10 via the link you provided and got a file not found error message! Help!
I really like what I've seen of the game so far, keep up the good work.

oh fine, release it when im 10,000 miles away from home without internet access.....  *sigh* im not sure if i want to test this one if that sort of thing is going to happen  maybe when i get over my jet lag...

No, I don't want to release the source yet. At some point I want to clean it up and release it, but not yet.
Anyway, it's about 8000 lines so far, so not really easy learning!

OK, I'll email it to you. It's not perfect, though. I think when I added the 3D stuff I screwed something up. So I'll need to look it over again at some point. But the basics are pretty clear.
