Obviously he's a hyper-evolved octupus. I suspected it all along, actually. |

Well, then obviously my title should be "Talented Octopus With Fingers" or just "Talented Octopus"! Hey, even in Greek "Talentid Oktopas"! I have way to much time on my tentacles.
edit {
"Talentid Oktopas Mazi Dachtylo," means, "Talented Octopus With Finger" (couldn't find plural for finger).
}

Well, now I'm confused, I looked up talented on Dictionary.com, and it says that the greek root is talanton. I'm spending way too much time on this, but now it's piqued my interest. LOL

Can you make hexagonal prisms easily in Blender? In wing, I wasn't able to find how to do it (too simple)... I can't find it in Blender (too complex) either... |

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but I think I do. What I would do is to make a hexagon by going into edit mode with the default cube, hit A to select all, delete all the verts, CTRL+LMB a six sided whosey, and duplicate it for each side. Then, I'd put the sides in the approximate shape (rot, move, scale), move the verts as close together as possible (between edges, on the seams), and finally I'd set RemDoubl to 0.001, hit A again, and click on RemDoubl. I have a pic of where RemDoubl is located (it's in the Editing menu).

P.S. I'll take a couple of pics of me stepping through the process I just described. It sounds complicated, but it's really quite simple. _________________ "Never sneak up on a turtle while he's welding" |
