0.6.10

Post by Paul »

Well, guys, it's been awhile... but here's 0.6.10!

Changes are:
  • Fixed threading bug causing high CPU usage during pause
  • Fixed cut-scene abortion bug in 10.3-10.4
  • All models converted to OBJ format for Intel compatibility
  • Universal Binary!

Strange; I can open it, so I have to believe it's not corrupt. Are you using the OS X built in extraction utility, or StuffIt? I recommend trying the other, although I can open it with both.

StuffIt should be in your Applications folder. To use the OS X built in utility, right click on the file and choose Open With -> BOMArchiveHelper.

Let me know. :?

Very nice! I had no trouble opening the zip... sounds like you might have some gremlins, Eric.

I'm happy to report that it's running very smoothly on my intel iMac... start-up and pilot loading are noticeably quicker here. Framerate is up around 260  :D

Minor bugs I noticed: when I started a new pilot, I was assigned some really wierd keys in the preferences. They looked somewhat random. Is there something in the code there still relying on the old key values? Also, for some reason I can't bring up the mini-menu with the esc key... I miss that funky little menu :(

Other than that it looks great. Cutscenes work very smoothly now.. I see that the glitchy lighting is gone too, looks great. :D
