Crashes

I have recently downloaded event horizon, and found that it crashes while loading the game. I am using the latest version, and here is my computers specs:

Yeah, I hope so, too.

Can you send me your crash log? Should be in your home folder /Library/Logs/CrashReporter, and might be named Intel.log or EventHorizon.log.

Sorry for not responding for a while. I got a new computer ( no, it wasn't just to play this game

) and the game works great on it, so I think it was just my old laptop, which might have not had the stuff to run it. ( I mean like frameworks and such ).
Time to make some mods!!!
EDIT: It crashes sometimes when you fire. it just freezes, forcing me to force quit. no crash recorded in the log.

Heh, glad it works better on the new comp! What did you get?

Do you know if there's a particular weapon you're firing that causes it to crash, or any weapon randomly crashes it?

I just realized that the weapon problem was mentioned on a thread before. and the weapon is the lazer.

Well, there's actually two lasers... "Laser Cannon" and "Laser Beam". Is it the "Laser Beam" one that's crashing for you? Cause that one crashes for me too (I forgot I hadn't finished it before I uploaded EH

), but the "Laser Cannon" shouldn't crash. So if you sell off your laser beams and just use laser cannons it ought to work. And I'll fix the laser beam in the next release.

yes, its the laser beam.
