							| As I'm sure a few of you noticed, this site had some downtime over the last weekend.
There were some issues in the colo facility that the site was located in, and it took a while to get everything straightened out.

If people want the gory details, I can give 'em, but I wanted to apologize for the downtime.

P.S. I was actually outta town and didn't notice a thing.
P.P.S. So that means that if I wasn't around to see it, then it didn't happen. Hmmmm....

Don't be ridiculous. The site simply existed in both states simultaneously!

							| Ah, the joys of quantum physics! Anyway, nothing significant with regard to EH happend on my end... although I have expanded the galaxy dramatically, but all of the extra systems are currently populated with the planet "Earth", since having them empty if the have a government causes crashes.
Personally significant, though, I accepted a job offer from Boeing for the summer to work on satellite ground control systems programming! Not sure what that involves, but it should be fun. I don't know if I'll feel like working on EH, though, after spending 8 hours coding!

Well…The facility that the server is hosted in had a power outage. Normally, this isn't an issue, because they have backup generators. The basement, where the generators are stored, was flooded due to renovations in the building. It took about six hours for the facility to come back up.

At this point, our server wasn't booting. As far as I and the other admin could tell, the HD had become corrupted, so a new HD was set up and shipped to the facility to be installed.

When the new HD was installed, the server still failed to boot. The techs at the facility lent us a boot drive, and we were able to boot from that and get the server up and running…this is temporary until we get a new server in.

It's dual-Athalon, with three 75 gig SCSI drives which will be set up as RAID 5 and many other bells and whistles.

Paul: Glad to hear about your job offer, I, for one hope that you'll still want to work on EH when you get that job. Have you considered trying to get 1.0 and approaching Ambrosia SW about publishing it?

							| It would just be for the summer, but I'll probably keep working on it, anyway. Maybe more of a focus on content then code, though. Here's what I've got right now: EH 0.5.18
Mostly just an expanded galaxy, although I think I've made a few bug fixes, as well.

							| Mike: Ah yes, Schrodinger's cat.
Paul: Good for you Paul. Although, since you're a government agency, can't you just assign half of your members to the Boeing project and the other half to EH?

CapHector: Okidey. Sounds like bad stuff went on. Ick. Super-Ick-!t00w (the opposite of w00t!)

							| I think this is the best place to put this (I dunno), but IRC is down again. Should be have a sticky for declairing downtimes or to point downtimes out to people?

							| Sorry about that…I'd never gotten around to writing a startup script for the IRC server, and I just added it to my auto-startup stuff.
