Need an Intel Mac tester by any chance?
The current version seems to work quite well through rosetta, as far as I can tell there aren't any platform specific bugs (actually now that I think about it, the landing cutscenes don't seem to work properly, they start but then just skip to the menu. Not sure if this is a platform specific bug or not...) and I was getting framerates of 150-250.
If you want to know anything specific, post here.
Computer is a Macbook Pro
Intel Core Duo @ 2.16 Ghz
Ati Mobility X1600 with 256 MB VRAM
2 GB RAM

That's quite impressive, considering EH is single-threaded, and running through Rosetta.
I'm not sure what's up with the landing cut scenes... that happens to me also, but just with 10.4... I think something generates an event that it thinks is user input... I'll look into it.
I guess I can also cut my teeth on making a universal binary!
Nice machine, by the way. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

I shudder to think what my framerates might be with a universal binary.....
anyway, just ran it again, and for whatever reason, it does seem to be using about 100% of the processor, but that's 70-80% of one core and 20-30% of the other core. It actually seems to hover around 104% processor usage, give or take about .5%
anyway, you should make a more than single threaded universal binary, just to see what the game can do with the bleeding edge of technology
actually, one more thing, a framerate cap option would be good considering that after a few minutes of gameplay the fans rev up to full blast. (just make it an option though, because I want to see how high it can get)

Hmm, yes, I'll look into that.

I think I'll put graphics and computation in separate threads... that way they can be throttled independently, graphics to your screen refresh (or whatever you want) and computation to some other value. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

sounds like a plan...see if we can get it up to about 190% CPU usage
