Here's what I was thinking for the overall map, not neccessarily to scale:

all of this looks excellent. i think it would also be cool if we did another universe that you can get to through only one point in the regular one that has the exact same layout but all different races  of course, you dont have to listen to me as im more than a bit tired and not really making sense most of the time...and it's only tuesday.

i still like the idea of the map being 3d and the Baby or black hole is formed at the center of all of them (like the universe is surrounding a super star and when it collapsed it started to suck them all in bringing factions closer together than they like and then things can heat up.)
