Well to be fair, Oolite is really descended from ye olde Elite. Also I think that's a fairly common way of storing data for OS X apps.. and yeah, EH is better |

w00t! He got it working on gentoo! In fact, it was the first one he listed. If he can get something almost identical (except suckier ) built with NeXTStep/OpenStep and Obj-C with GNUStep etc., then that means I should be able to get EH working too (with, of course, some OS specific code changes).

in all honesty i downloaded oolite a week or two ago because it looked like it could be fun.... but totally serious here... it sucks... there are a few good things about it... but not enough to count on two hands... EH surpasses it by far... _________________ He's Mormon/ one of a kind/ Popin' out the scene with only one thing on his mind/ conversion/ and Jesus too/ watch out for his hat cause it's gonna poke you/...Mormon/ yet still the Pope/ seems the high cardnal needs to ban that dope. |

Agreed. One thing i did like however was the docking process in which you actually flew into a station. I also liked how planets had levels and atmospheres.
Still, it was really oldish and didnt really hold any fun. Vega Strike was better, yet i just seemed way to slow and boring- it took about 1 hour of flying to reach another planet 'cause if you went to fast you'd just fly past it by like 100 light years. |
