Future Diary Entry
~~~~~~~~~~~~
There was another mass suicide today. Not surprising, really. Baby fills the night sky now - not that you can see it, but the swirled starlight is an eerie sight.
Most hope is lost - the colony ships will never be ready in time, bunkers are useless, and no shuttle has the range to escape.
Only the Project has any hope.
I also had the idea that we find the crashed time machine in The Belt - or that several factions could be fighting over it.
baby is the black hole as far as i know i might just be hallucinating... sounds a bit mysterious... how about something like... the time machine is discovered, everyone starts fighting over it, you have to sneak in through the battle and get it with a tractor beam and then run away before anyone kills you _________________ This space left intentionally blank. |
Yup, The Baby is a small black hole - but quite large enough to kill all of humanity.
Going for the wreckage - it could be a mission that crops up on each of the mission strings - grab it for the <whatever faction you are working for>
And it neatly solves the problem of having the TT's running around as well.
How does it solve the problem? I thought you were one of the TT's. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |
Nah - the TT's are just one of the many factions in the canvas of the universe. I thought that 'you' were pretty much like you were in Escape Velocity - Joe Public, starting out in the big bad universe.
