since everyone seems to be DEAD *sob* im posting a topic.....
a question for paul: What, if any, are your future plans for event horizon?
and a question for everyone else: What do you think should happen to event horizon?
I personally happen to think that when the game is done it'll be good enough to sell commercially, but that one is up to paul...i think that if that does happen i should get 50% of the profit.....yeah realistically i just want to be mentioned in the credits. And if the game is going to be free forever i still want to be mentioned in the credits. _________________ This space left intentionally blank. |

Yea, I want it to be a better version of something like Vega Strike, because I didn't like the game, even though it had great potential. _________________ BUILT FOR MAC OS X!!! |

I'm not dead, I'm just working full time
Future plans: well, I certainly hope it will be commercial quality. Then, depending on how much cash I have on hand ( ), I could either sell it or give it away. If I do sell it, I would think that you beta-testers should certainly deserve a percentage for all the work in putting together the plugin!
I agree with Gwynoid about vega strike. I tried that game, and it just took realism too far, making it way too hard. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

Here's what I'm working on right now: letting Event Horizon run in a window as well as fullscreen. As you can see from this screenshot, it isn't perfected yet. Hopefully it will be ready in a few days, though. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

Ahh. I see you're learning Cocoa (or maybe just looking it up fo rthe game) I've just started; and BTW, the window needs the little Red/Yellow/Green buttons at the top _________________ BUILT FOR MAC OS X!!! |

Actually, 99% of my code is Objective-C. Pretty much everything but a few utility functions. That window is the only part that's really Cocoa,, though. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |
