Hey, looks like you guys have a neat thing going on here. I am Killer Monster Snow Goon from over at Dawn of Infinity our project is suffering from a lack of momentup and I was thinking considering your project is still going we might be capable of working together in the future as we have similar goals. To expand the capabilities of EV. Just thought I would drop into say hello. I wonder why I haven't heard of you guys till now. Got a neat thing going. Check us out sometime though.

Do you have a link to download an application? I couldn't find one on the website, but it looks interesting. I'd certainly be willing to look at working together in areas, depending upon what similarities there are between our programs. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

Our old program is outdated so we aren't offering it for download anymore. I need to talk with our boss man before I can let you see what we have in the works. We do have a trailer you can check out though. Ours is designed to be multiplayer, that is our main goal. It is 3d now though. You guys are far ahead of us with some simple missions, outfits, ect. We don't really have much at all because of constant setbacks but we have been at if for more than an year and a half. The code you can check out on CVS though.
P.S. I would be interested in talking to you via a chat client, preferably AIM. If you are going to be around tonight I should be home around 9:00 central time (-6 GMT)

i think it would be pretty cool to team up and see what we can come up with, and then maybe actually combine the games per se as long as i can keep making ships
speaking of which, how did that ship work out in the game, or does it even exist in the game yet? im curious to know if there was anything wrong _________________ This space left intentionally blank. |

Yup, the ship worked just fine. It looks pretty cool, I'll post a screenshot of it in action If you want to test your ships yourself, just open up the .obj file in a text editor and change the second line to "mtllib Courier.mtl" (or any other .mtl file name you see in the "ships" folder in the plugin, then open the .evh file and change the "data" field to point to your .obj file (which you should place inside the ships folder). Oh, and also the ships should be sized to fit inside a cube at the origin extending out 1 unit in each direction. That should work in principle, although it seems to be crashing now that I resized your ship. Whatever, see what works _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

I'll be interested to see how this goes…if nothing else we might be able to have built-in netcode. _________________ Cap'n Hector |
