Well, I found out some of my optimizing weapon code actually was skipping a bunch of possible collisions, so I have fixed it so that weapons now work again. I have also added a new mouse model of control, which you can select by click "CONTINUOUS" in the prefs. Let me know what you think of it. It isn't very polished yet. Oh yeah, and I added 3D sound via OpenAL. You can download an OpenAL library. Here's the link to the new EH. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

i definitely like the mouse control in this better, but it seems like it's jumping when you turn cuz it constantly goes back to being straight. two problems other than that, once it started me out way above all of the planets, and two times it put me very far away from the planets, and there was a purple streak across the screen starting from the upper left and going to the lower right. other than that everything looks good _________________ This space left intentionally blank. |

Yeah, I need to work on making that smoother.

I'm not sure what's going on with putting you way far away, I'll look into that. The purple streak probably has something to do with the speed indicator, but since that's only supposed to go horizontal, I don't how that happened. Eh, I'll look into that, too _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

The new control scheme is groovy. Ditto on what 'spork said about the jumpiness.
Mini bug report - actually clicking the 'enter' button (as opposed to hitting return) when naming a new player doesn't seem to work? |

Well, that's because they're different ascii characters; it's an easy fix, but I wouldn't notice it because I always use the carriage return.

Or did you mean using the mouse to select the button on the screen? I made the same assumption as Mogul, but hitting the Enter key works for me, so I'm guessing you mean the mouse thing. I'll look into it.
And the new mouse control is coming along pretty well, too. I've already improved it greatly, but it still needs some more work. _________________ Differentiation is an integral part of calculus. |

OK, I made the mouse control smoother, and clicking the "Enter" button with mouse now works when making a new player. I also updated the explosion graphic... it's better now, but I still need to improve it more. I also updated a few planet graphics.
