greetings and good morning.
I have tried to download the gimp.app
files and 46 MG is a four hour download on dialup aol access.
also, after looking over the web site it appears that i might need a
whole range of files to opperate the program.
as I'm running on a mac OS X 10.3
I was curious if the almighty GAME MOGUL would be kind enough to
create a zip file of the GIMP applications.
would you please upload a smaller file to:
htttp://www.streamload.com
User name: terazel
password: horizon
so that it can be made available in a ozone friendly place?
it would help out allot. please note that the accout is limited to under
100mg a month. so if the files are still to big ,I.E. over 30mgs of data
then perhaps you might know of better way I can download the zip file.
thank you for your time and consideration.
happy gaming......

Well, unfortunately, even if I zipped it, it would be at MOST half of the original and would still take forever to download. Also, I only have 56k and it would take me four hours to download the latest gimp, zip it, and upload the compressed version.
I do have two suggestions:
(1) Set up a download and go watch a movie
(2) Get a memory stick (approx. $30.00) and go to public libraries which have high-speed internet.
If anyone else could help that would be great, but I can't do anything about it, sorry. I really can't help.

thanks for the response.
i got a pen drive so the library is an option.
I'll post it myself to streamload when i get a chance.
i tried to let it run for 4 hrs and i only got 17 MB
worth before AOL decided to unexpectedly disconnect.
I have since then downloaded BLENDER
that alone is heavy enough to keep me busy for a while.
I found the tutorials that come with it so hopefully,
some new ships might creep of the assembly line at Terazel.
did you have change to check out the
Terazel.bundle
I was curious as to what you think of it so far?
well, back to the grubbly task of terra forming...
thanks Again...
happy welding....
