so, the problem very briefly cuz it's 2 am and i need some sleep...i've been trying to upload a new avatar, but it doesnt let me upload anything over 4 KB despite the fact that it says the limit is 6 KB, (and quite frankly it looks horrible at 4 KB) then when i do get the (4 KB) image uploaded, it doesnt display it anywhere, it just has the question mark thingy. any help would be much appreciated. (perhaps we could up the size of avatars a bit, 6 KB seems a bit small  )

I upped the limit on avatars to 11000 bytes, which is about 10.3K or so. The board's software measures in bytes, not K…so if it keeps rejecting it, that might be part of the issue.

thanks  the picture was actually about 4500 bytes. the highest i was allowed to have it was 4072 bytes for some reason, anything above that and it wouldnt upload. i'll try it now and see if it works

heh  i thought it might be appreciated  i found it on my sister's wall a while ago (no idea what it was doing there) but i just had to take a picture, and finally got around to putting it up here
